Designer Walrus Tusk Neckpiece

This .25" slice of Walrus Tusk was cut from the base of the tusk, showing the beautiful matrix design in the center. The Tusk is highly polished, then mounted on Sterling Silver tubing to elevate it about the concave Sterling Silver disk base to reflect the beauty of both sides of the Tusk. The neckpiece is then rivited to the one piece of silver to suspend on the neckwire.

This Walrus Tusk is over 50 years old and has been in the Artist's possession for over 30 years, being carefully preserved during that time. This is #2/35 and is the largest slice of tusk available. Each new neckpiece will have a smaller slice as the tusk tapers to the end.
